Impossible World

For a class assignment. The idea was to make a world that was entirely believable in its own right using objects we own. Many of my classmates made sculpture or photoshopped something. This is a little different obviously.

So I went a step further. I took these select objects I have, and repurposed them. Everything in this picture is functioning as something other than what it was intended for. It's not supposed to make any sense, but it's supposed to be believable.

This took 25 hours to render on my mac pro at its gigantic size (download for full view - it's humungous.). I used Blender 2.49 for modeling, and 2.5 for rendering and lighting tweaks. All post-process done in photoshop CS4.
